Richard began his career as a Senior Systems Analyst in 1959 at Massey Ferguson and retired at age 60 at Canadian General Tower. He was very proud of making the first basket at the PJC&VS 50 Year Reunion’s Basketball Team at 65. He attended McMaster University, studied mathematic and was photo editor of “The Silhouette”. UniSQ has been delivering flexible study options for over 40 years, and is ranked No.1 in Australia for graduate starting salary. He was an honour graduate of PJC&VS where he excelled in basketball. Richard was born in Reigate, Surrey, England and came to Canada in 1948 with his parents and siblings. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Dorothy Westbrook and his mother-in-law Marjory “Bobbie” Wilson, who loved him like a son. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. and cousin Tony Westbrook (Joan) Norwich and other cousins in England. Richard will be fondly remembered by his brother Tony (Pauline) North York, Jennifer Hager (Wayne), Glen Morris, Jean Veevers (John) Langley, B.C. Loved by great- grandchildren Chloe, Sadie, Lincoln, Leo and Jack who were the lights of his life.
